RLS Construction was founded in 1982 when Rodney Smith, president and owner, began the company after completing formal training at Diamond Oaks Vocational School in 1980 and achieving the level of Master Carpenter. The company has over thirty years of experience serving the Tri-State area and provides roofing services including roof installation, repair, and replacement; interior renovations including drywall and painting; exterior services including siding repair and installation, gutter installation, and soffits; new home construction; room additions; and deck construction. RLS Construction also purchases houses, duplexes, multi-tenant buildings, and some commercial properties for cash. All work is personally supervised and inspected by Rodney Smith. The company works with insurance companies on storm damage claims and offers financing through Kemba Credit Union.
