IKO ROOFPRO Select

The middle ROOFPRO tier and the first publicly recognized membership - qualified on purchase volume and online courses, it unlocks IKO's extended Iron Clad material warranty (materials only, no workmanship).

IKO ROOFPRO Select is the middle tier of IKO's ROOFPRO contractor loyalty program, sitting above the entry-level Advantage tier and below the top Craftsman Premier tier. Unlike Advantage, Select is a full, publicly recognized ROOFPRO membership, and it is the first level at which a contractor can offer homeowners IKO's extended warranty protection.

Qualification is based primarily on purchase volume and education rather than on installation vetting. A contractor reaches Select by purchasing roughly 1,200 or more squares of IKO shingles per year, sourcing a meaningful share of their shingles from IKO, and completing required online educational courses. This makes the tier a reflection of a contractor's ongoing commitment to and volume with IKO products.

The practical benefit to a homeowner is warranty access. A ROOFPRO Select contractor can apply to register IKO's extended Iron Clad Protection limited warranty, which lengthens the coverage period on IKO materials beyond the standard warranty. It is worth noting that this extended warranty covers materials only and does not cover the contractor's workmanship, and IKO charges the contractor a per-application processing fee to register it.

For a homeowner, ROOFPRO Select indicates an established, product-trained IKO contractor who can extend the material warranty on an IKO roof. It is a genuine and useful affiliation, but because the tier is grounded in purchase volume rather than a quality inspection, and because IKO expressly does not guarantee the workmanship or quality of its members, it is best read as a meaningful purchasing relationship with a warranty perk rather than as a manufacturer endorsement of installation quality.
