A Malarkey Certified Pro Contractor sits one level above the baseline Certified tier. To earn it, the contractor completes hands-on, in-person training with a Malarkey representative and passes a Pro-level certification exam that tests both product knowledge and installation expertise.
The practical advantage of this tier is warranty access. A Certified Pro Contractor is eligible to register Malarkey's enhanced Pro warranty when they install a complete Secure Choice roofing system using Malarkey shingles together with at least three Malarkey accessories. That enhanced coverage goes beyond the standard material warranty available from a non-certified installer.
The Pro tier is vetted on real qualifications: contractors are confirmed to have at least three years of roofing experience, to be licensed and insured, and to be in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, in addition to passing the Malarkey training and exam.
For a homeowner, a Certified Pro Contractor means a trained, manufacturer-tested installer who can deliver a stronger Malarkey warranty than baseline. It is a real step up, while the top Emerald Premium tier adds manufacturer-backed workmanship coverage that the Pro level does not.
