Reaching it requires going beyond standard training: the contractor completes both the Certified Pro and the Certified Premium training programs, and critically, has their actual installed work reviewed by Malarkey's technical team for quality and craftsmanship.
That installation review is what sets this tier apart. Where lower tiers verify training and credentials, the Premium level adds manufacturer inspection of real-world work, making it a craftsmanship signal rather than a paperwork one. The vetting also confirms the contractor carries at least five years of roofing experience, is licensed and insured, and is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
The warranty advantage is the most meaningful difference for a homeowner. A Certified Premium Contractor is eligible to register Malarkey's highest level of coverage, the Emerald Premium warranty, when installing a complete Secure Choice roofing system with Malarkey shingles and at least four Malarkey accessories. This is the only Malarkey warranty tier that includes manufacturer-backed workmanship coverage, with Malarkey covering installation errors for 15 years, and it extends the non-prorated "right start" material period to a minimum of 40 years.
