Its members are chosen annually, and only from the pool of that year's Perfection Award winners - companies whose warranty-claim performance already ranked in the top 5% of all US and Canadian Authorized Applicators. From that group, Carlisle selects a small number to serve as an advisory board for the year, making Council membership a selection from among the selected: the manufacturer's best installers, narrowed again to the handful it most trusts.
The role is active rather than honorary. Council members work with Carlisle throughout the year on how the company can best support its contractor network and protect its reputation for quality roofing systems - product direction, program design, and field practices all pass through the group.
