Carlisle Authorized Applicator

The gateway credential of Carlisle SynTec Systems, one of the largest commercial single-ply roofing manufacturers in North America - a contractor trained and approved by Carlisle to install its EPDM, TPO, and PVC systems and to back them with Carlisle's warranties.

Carlisle SynTec Systems, headquartered in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and part of Carlisle Companies, is one of the dominant manufacturers of low-slope commercial roofing in North America. Its product lines - Sure-Seal EPDM, Sure-Weld TPO, Sure-Flex PVC, and the FleeceBACK family of fleece-reinforced membranes - cover most of the single-ply systems installed on warehouses, schools, offices, and other flat-roofed buildings. Carlisle does not sell these systems to just anyone: installation is restricted to its network of Authorized Applicators, and this credential means a company holds that authorization.

Becoming an Authorized Applicator is an application process rather than open enrollment. Carlisle evaluates the contracting business, trains its crews on the specific membrane systems it will install, and only then approves it to buy and install warranted Carlisle roofs. The authorization is what allows a contractor to register Carlisle's manufacturer warranties on a completed roof - including the long-term total-system coverage that building owners typically specify - and it keeps the contractor inside Carlisle's quality loop, where field service representatives inspect warranted installations and score them.

Carlisle describes its applicator network as an elite group, and the relationship is ongoing rather than one-time: applicators are the pool from which Carlisle's annual quality awards (ESP, the Perfection Award, Perfection Council) and lifetime Hall of Fame honors are drawn, all of which appear as separate credentials on this site when a company has earned them.

Calibration for building owners: this is a genuine, verifiable manufacturer relationship - the company appears in Carlisle's own applicator directory - and it is a commercial-roofing credential, speaking to flat and low-slope membrane work far more than to residential shingle roofs. It confirms training and warranty access, not an independent audit of licensing, insurance, or workmanship, so it works best alongside the usual checks: state licensing, insurance, and the company's track record.
