Public Records Check
- Missing License Our automated search didn't find a license on file for Rain Proof Roofing with the Alaska state licensing board. That doesn't mean the company is unlicensed. A license can be held under a different business name, registered too recently for us to match, or filed in a way our search didn't catch. We recommend confirming directly with the Alaska state licensing board or asking the contractor for their license number.
- Registered Corporation Rain Proof Roofing's registered name carries a corporate suffix (LLC or Inc), but we have not matched it to a filing on the Alaska Secretary of State. You can confirm how the business is registered, and its current status, directly with the Alaska Secretary of State.
- Business Address Rain Proof Roofing's listed address at 2201 E 84th Ct, Anchorage, AK 99507 appears to be a business address. This means the company operates from a real, locatable address rather than a mailbox or PO box, which can make it easier to reach them or resolve issues. Many roofers legitimately work from a home address, so this doesn't speak to the quality of their work, license, or insurance.
- 3 Credentials Rain Proof Roofing holds these manufacturer certifications: Owens Corning Preferred, Elevate Licensed Contractor, Carlisle Perfection Council. These show the company met a manufacturer's program requirements and may offer manufacturer-backed warranties, but they aren't independent quality audits. You can confirm current status with the manufacturer.
- Okay Ratings Across the platforms we identified for Rain Proof Roofing (Google, Yelp, the Better Business Bureau), the blended average is 3.9 out of 5, which we label Okay. This is a plain average of public customer ratings, not a RooferWatch score. Averages like this can be pulled down by a few reviews or a single dispute, so treat it as a starting point and read the underlying reviews for context.
We verified 3/5 public records for Rain Proof Roofing. The more of a company's record you can check, the more informed your hiring decision.

Yelp
Customer reviews of Rainproof describe mixed experiences. Several reviewers report long wait times for callbacks. Some customers praise the company's pricing and efficiency - one reviewer describes a roof replacement completed in one day with quality results, and another notes the company won their bid based on competitive hand-stamping pricing. However, reviewers express frustration with incomplete work: one customer reports only caulking was applied for an ice dam leak rather than a full repair, and another states the company refused to complete hand-stamping work that was explicitly requested multiple times despite being the primary reason for selecting them. One reviewer highlights positive customer service, noting the company reached out to address concerns. Another customer reports staff members performed unexpected additional work, cutting down broken branches during an inspection.
