Public Records Check
- Missing License Our automated search didn't find a license on file for Sinclair with the Florida state licensing board. That doesn't mean the company is unlicensed. A license can be held under a different business name, registered too recently for us to match, or filed in a way our search didn't catch. We recommend confirming directly with the Florida state licensing board or asking the contractor for their license number.
- Missing Corporation Our automated search didn't find a registered business entity for Sinclair with the Florida Secretary of State. That doesn't mean the company isn't legitimate. Many roofers operate legally as sole proprietorships, which don't require registration, and a registered business can be filed under a different name, formed in another state, or created too recently for us to match. To confirm how the business is structured, ask the contractor or search the Florida Secretary of State directly.
- Unverified Address Sinclair's listed address at 429 S Tyndall Pkwy, Panama City, FL 32404 appears to be a unconfirmed address. A roofer using a mailbox isn't necessarily a problem, but it can make the company harder to reach or hold accountable. To reach them in person, ask the contractor for a physical address or confirm one directly.
- 2 Credentials Sinclair holds these manufacturer certifications: CertainTeed ShingleMaster, NRCA Membership - member since 2022. These show the company met a manufacturer's program requirements and may offer manufacturer-backed warranties, but they aren't independent quality audits. You can confirm current status with the manufacturer.
- Excellent Ratings Across the platforms we identified for Sinclair (Yelp, the Better Business Bureau, CertainTeed), the blended average is 4.8 out of 5, which we label Excellent. This is a plain average of public customer ratings, not a RooferWatch score. A high average reflects past customers' experiences, not a guarantee of yours, so read the underlying reviews and weigh them yourself.
We verified 2/5 public records for Sinclair. The more of a company's record you can check, the more informed your hiring decision.

Company Description
Sinclair started as a civil engineering firm in 1970 and became a General Contractor that same year under the name Tamarron Construction, initially focusing on commercial work. By the early 1970s the company shifted to heavy industrial construction, including paper mills, cogeneration steam powerplants, material handling systems, and mining operations. In 1985 residential construction was added, and by 2007 Sinclair was building approximately 100 ICF homes annually. In 2018 the company returned to commercial and industrial work. Sinclair now specializes in military and government contracting with additional work in retail commercial, industrial, and homeowners associations. The company offers general contracting, project management, concrete work, site work, structural services, and roofing. Roofing services include tile, shingle, metal, TPO, PVC, EPDM, SPF, coatings, mod-bit, and built-up systems, along with re-roofing, repairs, new construction, emergency services, inspections, shrink wrap, tarping, and water mitigation.
