TAMKO Pro Diamond is the highest contractor designation TAMKO offers, and it is genuinely scarce: there are fewer than 200 Pro Diamond contractors across the entire United States. It is an earned, vetted credential, not a purchase-volume badge.
Reaching it is demanding. The designation is awarded by invitation to contractors who demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and a strong track record. To qualify, a contractor must show quality workmanship, maintain a strong reputation, carry proper licensing and insurance, follow TAMKO's installation guidelines, and complete product training, with installations subject to random inspection by the manufacturer.
The Diamond tier is the only level that unlocks TAMKO's strongest warranty. A complete TAMKO system installed by a Diamond contractor can carry the DiamondShield Enhanced Limited System Warranty, with up to 50 years of non-prorated material coverage, up to 25 years of manufacturer-backed workmanship coverage, and one-time transferability. No other tier can register DiamondShield, not a Platinum contractor, not a general installer, only Diamond. At the top tier, DiamondShield is a genuine peer to GAF's Golden Pledge, matching its 50-year non-prorated materials and 25-year workmanship coverage.
For a homeowner, a TAMKO Pro Diamond contractor represents the strongest assurance TAMKO offers that both the product and the installation are covered, available only from the small, manufacturer-inspected group at the top of the program.
