Every Diamond contractor in the directory is, by definition, a contractor who cleared this exact bar three consecutive times, and a current Platinum holder is either one or two qualifying years away from the top tier or has chosen not to sustain it. The paired names reflect Atlas's two qualification paths rather than separate ranks: Platinum Select is reached through at least 100 complete Signature Select Roofing System installations - whole-roof builds where Atlas shingles, underlayment, ventilation, and accessories are installed as one system and registered under an Atlas system warranty - while traditional Platinum is reached through raw volume, at least 10,000 squares of Atlas shingles with Scotchgard Protector.
The scale of either path is worth pausing on. One hundred registered full-system installations works out to roughly two complete Atlas roofs every week of the year, and 10,000 squares is several hundred typical residential roofs' worth of shingles, so Platinum-volume contractors are effectively running Atlas as a primary product line rather than one option among several. Standing is verified through Atlas's own records - jobs and warranty registrations submitted and approved in the contractor's Atlas PRO account - and Atlas reserves the right to grant or revoke PRO+ status at its discretion regardless of the numbers. Because the level resets each program year, a contractor displaying it earned it on recent production, not legacy volume.
Calibration for homeowners: Platinum is double the Gold entry requirement (60 systems or 5,000 squares), so it marks a genuinely high-throughput Atlas operation with entrenched supply and warranty-registration habits - the same paperwork discipline that gets an individual homeowner's warranty filed correctly. It remains a volume and loyalty credential rather than a vetted certification like GAF Master Elite, so it carries no independent verification of licensing, insurance, or workmanship. Of the two variants, Platinum Select is the denser signal per job, since every counted roof was a complete registered Atlas system on the track tied to Atlas's enhanced Signature Select PRO warranty upgrades.
